Mediation vs. Arbitration to Solve a Case… What is my Best Choice in MA? Attorney Neil Crowley
Massachusetts personal injury attorney Neil Crowley discusses some options you may not know you have in your lawsuit.
A lot of people believe cases are either settled or they go to trial. But you do have some other options and they can be very beneficial to you. One option is mediation. Basically both parties sit down and try to come to an agreement without going to court. Arbitration is much like this option, but the person in charge of the arbitration can set a result that is binding where mediation is not. You can go through mediation and not come up with a mutual solution and continue on to court and trial. Arbitration is a final say. However, they are both less formal than court and can be done so quickly without having to wait for trial. They are good options for parties just looking to have a matter resolved that don’t need a courtroom. Watch the video now to learn more.
