Jessie Campbell – Communicating What You Want – TEDxPenticton 2012
The world of communication is a fast-paced one these days and Jessie Campbell enjoys the pace that’s required to keep up. Sometimes describing the new age of social media as «word-of-mouth on steroids», Jessie is obsessed with the competitive forces at work in this rapidly changing world. She looks through the telescope for international trends and through a magnifying glass at local realities.
For TEDxPenticton 2012, Jessie will explore where we go from here in a communications world that’s arguably hard to keep up in.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
